The Odeleite river valley location has many beneficial localised micro climate and unique environment properties, sheltered by the surrounding low hills, potential for large water reservoirs within the land boundaries, we also have, courtesy of the local authority a 2.5km long 30cm pipe running through our land bringing fresh river water from upstream for irrigation use, the last 3 km of the Odeleite is tidal and sea / fresh water mix, it has has many opportunities for water based sports or other boating activities, and is a major tributary of the Guadiana International river.

The development land has a 1500 metre river frontage with lots of potential for fishing and boating, hiking  and cycling trails, river trips or excursions on the  Guadiana river with 50 km to traverse upstream or down to the the coastal strip with miles of  beautiful beaches there to enjoy.

 We also have very easy road access to the site, about an hour from Faro International airport, mostly on the motorway, lots of potential for nice scenic walks or longer hikes and a picnic, or explore the local area by mountain bike, we will be setting up in-house minibus excursions to beauty spots or places of interest for our residents and guests.

As a long-term shareholder / resident, you would be living in harmony with nature in a peaceful and tranquil river valley setting, a premier location in a beautiful area with wonderful unspoiled views from all aspects, with pure clean fresh air and water, fresh organic homegrown nutrient dense fruits and vegetables, produced within our own regenerative / permaculture farm and aquaponics greenhouse complex, locally caught fish, free range eggs etc.

Some sceptics may be thinking how is all this free living for life  even possible? The simple answer, the no cost hospitality for our shareholder will be subsidised from the revenue generated by guests staying at the healthy living hotel complex, also the from long term leased accommodation, we also have economies of scale with our food and energy infrastructure, so in that respect the solution is quite simple.


Shareholder funds are invested in the hotel infrastructure, creating a level of profit for shareholders pro-rata, all the energy and food production costs and overheads are combined, the actual cost of the free-living perks for shareholders are incorporated in the overall services cost structure

  

"There is no such thing as a free lunch"? The exception, as valued shareholders and part owners of what will be a unique health and longevity eco-village style development, you get free lunches, free breakfast, dinner and supper for life, plus many other tangible and intangible perks and benefits, individual freedom comes with individual responsibility.

 and a two-bedroom cottage for $900,000,  Currency exchange Aus. $900,000 = £475k

My take, with these presumed purchases you would still have annual local council taxes to pay, all your energy, water and waste costs, all food shopping and cooking, a potential £10k or more per annum cost of living, over and above the initial purchase price.

£475k would qualifying for a high-level VIP shareholding, with free living and the all-inclusive package plus £450 a week spending money, plus whatever other income was available as discretionary spending money.

Another recent eco-village type project in Portugal.

A new premium sustainable development, called Casas da Bela Vista and located between Melides and Santiago do Cacém, which will be made up of 18 tiny houses of T1+1 types. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025, but the units are already on sale with prices up to 310 thousand euros. (Add the 23% vat €381k plus local taxes, plus all services and food annually? Another VIP possibility.)
